Why did you decide to earn a J.D.?
I was considering a career in law enforcement, but a mentor suggested that I consider going to law school instead. I looked into it and decided that it was a much better path for me.
What was your experience like at UDSL?
The network that UD provides is great. Everyone wants you to be successful and that extends from people within the law school to the network of UD alumni around the county.
How has the J.D. helped with your career and what are you doing now?
Absolutely. I am currently an Attorney with the law firm Morgan & Morgan. I am in charge of the Ohio workers’ compensation practice and represent many injured workers across Ohio.
What advice would you give a future lawyer?
Learn the law but never forget that your clients are often coming to you on one of the worst days of their lives. Empathy goes a long way.
