Why did you decide to earn a J.D.?

I decided to pursue a J.D. because I wanted a career where I could make a meaningful impact. I have always been passionate about advocating for others and helping those in need.

What was your experience like at UDSL?

My experience at UDSL was really positive. From the start, I found the faculty to be supportive and approachable. I valued the sense of community and the collaborative environment.

How has the J.D. helped with your career and what are you doing now?

Earning a J.D. gave me the opportunity to develop critical thinking, analytical, and writing skills. I am currently working as a judicial law clerk, where I assist in research, analyze complex issues, and prepare initial drafts of judicial opinions.

What advice would you give a future lawyer?

My advice would be to welcome new opportunities and build relationships along the way. A lot of doors open through the people you meet and experiences you say yes to.
