Pilot Your Research Experience as a UD Flyer

Undergraduate students in the College of Arts and Sciences can participate in our Dean's Summer Fellowship program. This distinctive (and paid!) research opportunity allows students like you to partner in one-on-one collaboration with a faculty mentor of your choice in a shared summer project.

In the Dean’s Summer Fellowship, your interests and imagination as a student drive the research: you can deeply explore an intellectual or creative project on subjects that fascinate you, even if they would fall outside the traditional bounds of your major. Let your passion and enthusiasm be your guide as a Dean’s Summer Fellow!

Current students interested in the Dean’s Summer Fellowship can find program details and eligibility requirements on Porches.

The Dean’s Summer Fellowship made me realize research was both exciting and a team effort. It pushed my boundaries and challenged me to be inquisitive and intellectually creative.
