NCAA and Conference Mandated Policies
Purpose
As a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (the Association), the Atlantic 10 Conference, the Pioneer Football League and Colonial Athletic Association (collectively the Conferences), the University of Dayton is responsible to control its intercollegiate athletics program in compliance with the rules and regulations of the Association and Conferences. Membership in the Association and Conferences require the University to follow certain policies and procedures.
Scope
The University of Dayton shall comply with all applicable rules and regulations of the Association and Conferences in the conduct of its intercollegiate athletics programs. University of Dayton staff, student-athletes, and other individuals and groups representing the institution's athletics interests shall comply with the applicable rules.
The Vice President of Athletics along with the Athletics Committee of the Board of Trustees shall be responsible for generating, reviewing, approving and enforcing specific Association and Conference polices.
