Thirteen University of Dayton schools and programs are listed among the '2026 U.S. News Best Graduate Schools Rankings.'
The 2026 edition features the University's schools of law and engineering; plus the part-time MBA, physical therapy, physician assistant, biological sciences and public affairs programs as well as the industrial/manufacturing/systems, aerospace, biomedical, electrical, material and mechanical engineering programs.
Notably, the School of Engineering ranks second among Catholic colleges and universities and second among Ohio colleges and universities. It is tied with Ivy League member Brown University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and ranks ahead of Case Western Reserve University and Ivy League member Dartmouth College.
The rankings — a resource widely used by prospective students considering graduate school — are based on "two types of data: expert opinions about program excellence and statistical indicators that measure the quality of a school's faculty, research and students," according to U.S. News.
