Once home to senior students and future teachers, Chaminade Hall makes way for green space – and future plans.

Construction on Chaminade Hall

Chaminade Hall, built in 1904 to house a surge in student enrollment, came down in May and June. It was described as “palatial quarters” for senior students and most recently housed the teacher education program before sitting empty for many years. By the fall semester, it will be green space. When new times call for new buildings, campus plans to again honor the name of the Marianist co-founder.
