This crew of UD engineers — Anna Tackett ’22, Lindsay Hampo ’22, Natalie Douglass ’23, Allison Lenhardt ’23 and Martin Carroll ’23 — took a break for a photo op on a trip to Iceland.

Celebrating the new year in Peru, Kaitlin McDonough ‘97 and her family stopped at the Pampa Cañahuas National Reserve to read UD Magazine with a festive alpaca decked out in Flyer red and blue.

Mingling with new penguin friends and taking an icy polar plunge, Mike Laiman ’88 spent some time during his Antarctic expedition on D’Hainaut Island. 

During a trip to La Romana, Dominican Republic with her daughters Raegan, 10, and Morgan, 8, Angie Cravens Wells ’94 was sure to pack UD Magazine as her favorite beach read. 

Former Flyers football teammates Tim Norbut ’87, Nick Cikulin ’87, Phil Nussman ’85, James Towns ’86, Dan Tarpey ’86, Mark Herr ’84 and Doug Zimmer ’87 met up to go walleye fishing on Lake Erie and stopped to catch up on UD Magazine over lunch.  

Making a stop at Gran Canaria Island during a trans-Atlantic cruise the couple took last fall, Gerry Kruzel ’66 and Vinny Hartshorn Kruzel — who met and married at UD — took a moment to enjoy a perfect island view with UD Magazine.  

There definitely weren’t enough pages in UD Magazine to burn to keep Dave Chesar ’97, Charlie Schreier ’02 and Seth Wade ’15 warm during their week of snow carving for the annual Snowfest in Frankenmuth, Michigan, but there were plenty of stories to keep them entertained.
