2405_wayr_incopy6.jpg1- This summer Beth Moeller Garcia ’16 and Amanda Lochtefeld ’16 stopped at Stonehenge on a road trip from London to Edinburgh, Scotland. It was the perfect spot for a little light reading of UD Magazine.

 

2405_wayr_incopy3.jpg2- Bob Wedig ’77 and his wife, Jan, traveled through the Holy Land with a group from their local diocese and stopped at the Dead Sea for a swim. He said it was a pretty good place to “sit” and enjoy UD Magazine. No flotation devices needed!

 

2405_wayr_incopy9.jpg3- Dan Prindle ’11 and Joey Granite ’12 enjoyed reading UD Magazine from the highest point in the contiguous United States atop Mount Whitney in California. 

 

 

2405_wayr_incopy.jpg4- In October, Megan O’Malley Hasak ’99 and her husband, Damian, took Megan’s mother on her dream vacation to Africa. Their first stop (and the best, in her opinion) was Giraffe Manor in Nairobi, Kenya.

 

 

 

 

 

2405_wayr_incopy2.jpg5- Danielle Bateman Williams ’91, along with Class of 1990 alumnae Susan Schuh Leonardi, Kelly Fudge Albada, Louise Berning Maxwell and Margaret Rowson Usey, visited Cincinnati Oktoberfest 2023 and paused for a photo with UD Magazine.

 

 

 

 

 

2405_wayr_incopy5.jpg6- During a 10-day Alaskan cruise, Kathy Kiesewetter Herron ’73 and Ann Marie Mazzucco ’73 took advantage of a photo op in front of Margerie Glacier in Glacier Bay, Alaska, while sipping on a glass of Alaskan Glühwein and catching up on the latest issue of UD Magazine. 

 

2405_wayr_incopy7.jpg7- Hannah Viertel and Caroline Santella, former roommates from the Class of 2013, traveled to Munich, Germany, to celebrate Oktoberfest. They even dressed the part to match the cover of UD Magazine, which they enjoyed between steins.

 

 

 

 

 

2405_wayr_incopy4.jpg8- Kathy Fairlie Cindric ’75 and her husband, Greg, traveled to Greenland with friends in August. She paused with UD Magazine in front of Waltershausen Glacier, which stretches 6 miles across the Nordfjord in Northeast Greenland National Park, about 1,000 miles from the North Pole.
