Set goals and meet them
Finals week raises its own set of questions even before testing begins. Did I study enough? Did I study the right material? Will this be an essay test, or an A, B, and sometimes C multiple choice test? Ten years from now what you know is likely to have changed. Twenty years from now what you know really will have changed. What you’ve actually learned isn’t a memorized fact, it’s a behavior. You’ve learned how to think by deferring gratification so you can question everything until you achieve the goal. The end result is the treasured sense of accomplishment.
