A well earned break for Christmas
The time to go home and be with family for Christmas break has finally arrived. You (and your parents) have looked forward to this all semester. It always feels good to cross the threshold of your family home. Familiar smells of favorite foods being prepared, the fresh scent of a clean load of laundry, or even small things like the fact that the staircase to your bedroom still creeks when you step on it, all brings you that instant sense of comfort that can only come from being home. It’s almost like it’s been frozen in time waiting for your return. Much in the same way, your home away from home will be waiting. Back on campus, nearly everything’s been stacked up, buttoned up, or closed up, ready and waiting for you when you come back, refreshed from your time away and ready to focus on your studies in the New Year.
