UD now offers an extended payment option for our MSL students. This 4-payment plan allows you to make monthly payments on University billed expenses, with no late charges, interest charges, or registration holds. The cost is $50 per semester to participate. You must be registered and in good financial standing with the University. Fall semester enrollment begins July 6 through July 21. Late enrollment runs through Sept 8. Spring semester enrollment runs Dec 2 through Dec 21. Late enrollment runs through Feb 8. Missed payments when using late enrollment must be paid before acceptance into the plan. (There is no payment plan for summer semester.)

Payment Plan Application

FEDERAL STUDENT LOANS

If you would like to take federal student loans to cover the cost of tuition and fees (and also a small personal allowance for books and expenses, if desired), you will need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and have the results sent to UD. Our school code is 003127. Loan offerings can only be made after we have a valid FAFSA on file for you.

PRIVATE ALTERNATIVE STUDENT LOANS

If you prefer, you may, with credit approval, take a private student loan rather than a federal student loan. Interest rates and terms are set by each lender.

Military & Veteran Benefits

VETERAN EDUCATION BENEFITS

If you have veteran education benefits eligibility, you will need to first apply for your benefits.

Once you receive your Certificate of Eligibility (COE), you can review UD’s Checklist for your Benefits by Chapter and submit your COE, copy of your application (VA Form 22-1990 or VA Form 22-5490) and Chapter Checklist to UD’s Veterans’ Services Office.

Students with VA Educational Benefits may also take student loans if they choose.

MILITARY TUITION ASSISTANCE

Military Tuition Assistance is a benefit paid to eligible members of the Army, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard. Each service has its own criteria for eligibility, obligated service, and application requirements.

For active-duty AF members, you may be eligible for tuition assistance through the Education Services Program. You will need to have the course pre-approved and an AF Form 1227 signed by your commander and/or supervisor and emailed to Diane Flora in UD’s Office of Student Accounts: dflora1@udayton.edu.

Tuition Assistance for Eligible Federal Government Civilian Employees

Eligible employing organizations may approve you for civilian tuition assistance. You must be pre-approved and submit the appropriate paperwork, which may include a Standard Form 182 (US Office of Personnel Management) to Diane Flora in UD’s Office of Student Accounts: dflora1@udayton.edu, who will then bill the employer.
