If you expect to take more than one mini-course from the Immigration Law course offerings, the full course is the preferred option because it includes all six of the mini-courses as well as two additional modules that provide practice oriented content and a comprehensive review of the course content.
Successful completion of the full course will result in approximately 10-13 CLE credits in Ohio and Florida, respectively. Completion of the full course will also result in a total of seven shareable Digital Badges (one for each mini-course and one for the full course) and a certificate of completion for the full course.
Additionally, if you take one or more of the mini-courses and then decide to take the full course, you will have to repeat those mini-courses in the full course. When doing so, you will not be able to receive CLE credit for the same content. Specifically, if you take any mini-courses and later decide to take the “full” course, the CLE credits reported to the Bar will be reduced by the number of credits that you have already taken and reported for the mini-courses.
GLEI courses are designed for attorneys, legal professionals and other qualified learners seeking focused, practice-oriented legal education outside a traditional degree program.

The full course includes the complete curriculum plus additional review, supplemental resources and practice-oriented content. Participants in the full course earn all the mini-course digital badges/credentials as well as a full-course certificate and credential. The full course also provides for additional continuing legal education credit beyond that provided in the individual mini-courses. (CLE is pre-approved in Florida and Ohio).

The full course has been approved by the Supreme Court of Ohio Commission on Continuing Legal Education for 10.5 CLE Hours and by the Florida Bar for 13.0 CLE Hours (including 6.5 Immigration and Nationality Law Certification credits). The mini-courses have also been approved for both Ohio and Florida CLE credit, with individual courses ranging from 1-2.5 credits each.
Participants are awarded a certificate of completion and digital badge at the end of each course. For the “Full Course”, participants are awarded six mini-course digital badges in addition to the full course digital badge and the full course certificate of completion. Eligible attorneys also can receive CLE credit for completion of each course.
Participants planning to take one or more of the mini-courses are strongly encouraged to, instead, take the full course. Since the mini-courses are part of the full course, participants cannot claim CLE credit for both. This means that a participant who takes a mini-course and, then, decides to take the full course will have to repeat the mini-courses in the full course and will not receive additional CLE credit for completing the content twice.
