Ashleigh Wade began her higher education career in Residence Life, serving in a variety of roles including Resident Advisor, Graduate Assistant Hall Director, Hall Director, and Assistant Director across several public and private institutions in Ohio. This foundational experience solidified her love for intentional programming and advocating for all students, particularly underrepresented populations.
Her career trajectory includes key leadership roles nationwide: Coordinator of Student Conduct Systems at Utica University, Assistant Director at Case Western Reserve University and the University of Florida, Director of Student Conduct & Community Standards at the University of Cincinnati, and Associate Dean of Students and Director of Student Conduct and Community Standards at the University of Toledo.
Academically, she holds a Bachelor of Science and Certificate in Criminal Justice and Women's Studies from the University of Cincinnati, a Master's degree in Higher Education from the University of Toledo, and is currently completing her dissertation for her Doctor of Philosophy degree in Higher Education from the University of Toledo.
Throughout her career, Ashleigh has gone to great lengths to understand the complex dynamics and laws that impact Student Conduct and Title IX. While at the University of Toledo, she served as a founding member of a small interdisciplinary team that successfully secured a U.S. Department of Justice Grant dedicated to reducing sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking on campus.
Her impactful leadership earned her several recognitions, including the Greek Life Outstanding Faculty/Staff Member Award, NAACP Outstanding Advisor, and the Students First Award. A deeply engaged leader in professional organizations, she is an active member of ASCA, ATIXA, and ACPA – College Student Educators International, where she served as a member, Chair-Elect, and Chair for the ACPA Commission for Student Conduct and Legal Issues.
Ashleigh was welcomed to the Flyer Family in Fall 2026.
