The National Weather Service has issued a cold weather advisory until noon Saturday for wind chills as low as nine below zero. As cold weather persists, the University wants to remind our community about tips for protecting yourself, your residences and your property, plus dealing with winter weather. These will be posted on UD's emergency preparedness and response page, along with updates on weather alerts, event cancellations and building closures.

Profile

James serves as the Interim Assistant Director of Outdoor Education and Camp after graduating with his B.S. in Biology from UD in December 2025. As an undergraduate student, James worked as an Outdoor Leader and supervised the program's Outdoor Engagement Center.

James hopes to take the skills he gained as an undergraduate and use them to improve the already strong foundation of UDCR's Outdoor Education program. His goal is to help students all across campus engage in meaningful and educational experiences in the outdoors while fostering a deeper connection with the world that surrounds them.
