The National Weather Service has issued a cold weather advisory until noon Saturday for wind chills as low as nine below zero. As cold weather persists, the University wants to remind our community about tips for protecting yourself, your residences and your property, plus dealing with winter weather. These will be posted on UD's emergency preparedness and response page, along with updates on weather alerts, event cancellations and building closures.

Hello! My name is Ethan Smith and I am an ordained pastor in the Christian Churches and Churches of Christ. I grew up in Springfield, OH as a fan of Flyers basketball and I received my graduate degrees in Theology from UD. I am the Coordinator of Religious Diversity in Campus Ministry. I offer pastoral care and faith formation for members of the UD community (students, faculty, and staff) and I oversee non-Catholic student faith organizations. I am also an adjunct professor of Scripture and Theology in the Department of Religious Studies. As campus minister it is my honor to be a fellow traveler with those seeking to know and participate in the love of Christ through prayer, Scripture study, and service. This love welcomes all and impels me into interfaith ministry, supporting and building friendships with people of differing faiths and backgrounds at UD. If you are looking to be connected to a faith group, seeking pastoral care, or want to discuss spirituality and theology, feel free to email or call me.

"St. Paul says that, if we have all the gifts of the Spirit but do not have love, we are no further forward. How assiduous, then, we ought to be in our efforts to acquire this love."
-St. Maximus the Confessor
