Hola! I’m Arumi Ortiz, and I serve as the Digital Media Campus Minister, where I bring faith to life through storytelling, creativity, and connection. Rooted in the Marianist charism, I believe God is found in the ordinary; in community, in culture, and in conversation. For me, digital media ministry is about meeting people where they are, both online and in real life, and inviting them into spaces of reflection, belonging, and joy.
As a Lay Marianist, I’m passionate about helping others encounter God in both sacred and everyday moments. I find inspiration in La Virgencita de Gudalupe, pop culture, and uncovering theological themes in movies, music, and fashion. Being bilingual and bicultural allows me to celebrate the beauty of diverse identities and the universality of the Church.
I love trying new foods, capturing photos of the sky, and creating spaces where people feel seen and connected. I’d love to meet you and hear your story!
