Profile
Pat Sobkowski is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Political Science at Marquette University. He teaches Constitutional Law, Courts and Public Policy, and American Politics.
He earned his J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2021 and his B.A. in History from Carthage College. His scholarship focuses on American Political Development, Constitutional Law, and Administrative Law. Pat is currently working on a book on the Steel Seizure Case and the development of presidential and congressional power. He has published articles in the Emory Law Journal Online, the Washington University Law Review Online, the Dayton Law Review, and the Yale Journal on Regulation. His public writing has appeared in Liberal Currents and has been quoted in the New York Times.
Following law school, Pat clerked on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. He is excited to return to Dayton and give back to the community.
