Dylan Smearcheck is a Visiting Professor with experience in both civil and criminal practice. A 2009 graduate of The Ohio State University Moritz College of law, Dylan served as Editor-in-Chief of the Ohio State Law Journal and was awarded the Blackmun Fellowship by a group of United States Supreme Court Justice Harry Blackmun's former law clerks.
Following graduation, Dylan practiced both civil and criminal law, spending the majority of her career as a prosecutor. In that role, she handled a wide range of cases at both the trial and appellate levels. She has substantial courtroom experience and brings a practice-oriented perspective to legal education.
