Profile
Kelly has taught, published and practiced in the trusts and estates, and tax fields for over 20 years. As an experienced higher education administrator and online education curriculum director, he has served as Vice Provost, Interim Dean, Program Director, Faculty Senate Member, and Curriculum Director-Online Program Management. During his tenure at the University of Toledo College of Law, he received four Outstanding Professor of the Year Awards and a Student Impact Award.
For the last six (6) months, he has consulted with a business and estate planning firm in Missouri, studying the practice of complex law in a small firm environment. Outside of his professional interests, Kelly prides himself on having biked the entirety of the 240-mile Katy Trail in Missouri (without falling off!). He frequently visits Dayton, Ohio to visit the great University there, and because that is where his grandchildren live.
