Lauren E. Mitchell, Ph.D. is IP Counsel at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. She graduated from the University of Tennessee with a B.S. in Political Science and Government and from the University of Dayton School of Law before earning her doctorate in Biochemistry and Biophysics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a focus on protein and redox chemistry (regulation of RhoGTPases). Lauren then earned an L.L.M. in IP Law from the University of Washington and worked at Klarquist Sparkman, LLP in Portland, Oregon. In addition to supporting the research and licensing activities of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, she is involved in patent policy development at the ABA Section on IP Law.
