Profile

Athanasios (Nasos) Mihalakas is a law professor with over 15 years of teaching experience. Over the years, he has taught courses on US common law like Legal Research & Writing, Property Law, Contract Law, US Procedure Law, and US Public Law, as well as courses on international law like Public International Law, International Trade Law, International Commercial Law and International Environmental Law. He also taught business related courses, like Business Organizations, International Business, and Business Law to both law and business students.

Prior to that, Nasos worked for 10 years in Washington DC for the US federal government, as a policy analyst for international trade and economic issues. He received his LLM from the University College London, and his JD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.

Nasos is also the Director of the Center for Federalism & Regional Integration, a volunteer collaborative academic research center of the Athens Institute for Education and Research (ATINER), that organizes conferences and advances collaboration among academics from around the world. His research focuses on federalism, regional integration, international environmental law, and climate change.
