Heather Creed is a seasoned nonprofit executive and strategic program leader with more than 20 years of experience in education, law, and public service. Most recently serving as Executive Director of the Law & Leadership Institute, she led a statewide, law-based college pipeline program impacting students across six Ohio cities. Her leadership resulted in significant programmatic growth, improved performance monitoring systems, and national recognition—including the 2021 ABA Alexander Award for Excellence in Pipeline Diversity.
Prior to that, Ms. Creed held senior roles in youth education and law school administration, including Managing Director of Academic Programs at Legal Outreach in New York City and Assistant Dean of Professional Development & Student Relations at Baylor Law School. Across these roles, she enjoyed spearheading professional development initiatives, enhancing institutional partnerships, and working toward improved student outcomes.
A formerly licensed attorney and educator, Ms. Creed holds a J.D. and M.S. in Education Administration from Baylor University, as well as a B.S. in Elementary Education from Taylor University. She has served as a foster parent, public library trustee, and national conference presenter, consistently centering her work on equity, leadership, and community empowerment. Outside of work, Ms. Creed can often be found next to a cross country course or swimming pool as her two sons' biggest fan.
