School of Law: Erin Baldwin

Erin Baldwin is an Assistant Professor of Lawyering Skills at the University of Dayton. She teaches in the Legal Profession Program.

Professor Baldwin obtained her undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University prior to obtaining her J.D. from Yale Law School. After law school she worked for law firms in New York and Ohio where her practice focused on commercial litigation and government investigations. She also clerked for the Honorable Judge James S. Gwin of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.

Professor Baldwin began her career in academia at the Moritz College of Law at The Ohio State University, where she served as the law school's inaugural Director of Academic Excellence. In that role, she developed and delivered the law school's academic support programming and supported students from all class years to reach their academic goals. She was also responsible for the law school's bar preparation program, where she worked extensively with recent graduates to prepare them for the bar exam. Professor Baldwin taught the law school's early bar prep course, Legal Analysis Workshop.
