Profile

Brenna is part of the Global Engagement and Partnerships team and serves as Assistant Director. She has been with the University of Dayton since 2009.

Brenna has worked in education for more than 20 years as faculty member and administrator in various primary, secondary and higher education settings, including the Intensive English Program at the University of Dayton.

Most recently, she was the Program Coordinator for the University of Dayton English Language Institute (UDEL), where she worked to serve EFL teachers and learners in Latin America. She received her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership in 2022, focusing on DREAMers and migrant/returnee teacher identity development and online education.

Brenna has done research in second language writing, prosodics and campus internationalization, and is especially interested in linguistically and culturally responsive pedagogy.
