Profile

Sangita serves as the Interim Executive Director in the Global and Intercultural Affairs (GIA) Center. Sangita's background experience spans across international education, community and government relations, campus planning, community engagement and experiential learning, and leadership development. Prior to joining the University of Dayton, she worked in Public Affairs, and the Dean's Office in the Division of Student Development at Loyola University Chicago. She also has past experience working in the Office of Organizational Strategy and Change at Northwestern University.

About the Center

The GIA Center provides leadership, strategic direction, coordination and support for the internationalization and global learning of campus. In collaboration with other University departments, partners and communities, the GIA Center offers innovative programs and services to enhance global and intercultural education, support student success, and promote diversity and inclusion. Under the Office of the Provost, the GIA Center's areas include Education Abroad and Away, Global Engagement, the Intensive English Program, International Student and Scholar Services, and Partnerships.
