Profile

Ben’s experience in international education began with semester-long study abroad programs in Shanghai and London. Upon returning to the United States, Ben served as a student assistant in the Education Abroad Office at the University of Alabama. He then participated in a program in Rome and the CLS Chinese program after graduating with a B.A. in International Studies and Political Science, with minors in Mandarin Chinese and Leadership Communication. Ben served as an Education Abroad Advisor at Davidson College in North Carolina before joining GIA.

Originally from Cincinnati and an alumnus of St. Xavier High School, Ben is excited to help fellow Ohio students with a Catholic educational background pursue global opportunities that shape them into the leaders and thinkers of tomorrow. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling and enjoying the local flavor that make places special, hiking, watching movies, TV shows, and American football at the college and professional level. He is also a huge fan of live music across a wide range of genres and venues, seeking it out wherever he goes.
