Finance and Administrative Services: Human Resources

Kim serves as a member of the HR senior leadership team, providing advice to the vice president, and she is primarily responsible for counseling employees and managers regarding complex people management issues. She supports the Department of Athletics, the Division of Student Development, the Office of Legal Affairs, the Office of the President, the Office of the Provost, University Libraries, Graduate Academic Affairs, and University Marketing and Communication. Kim also manages the University’s Workers’ Compensation program, and she serves as the primary point of contact for employee ADA accommodation requests. 

Kim can help employees with issues relating to workplace conflict, performance management practices and evaluations, ADA accommodation requests, workers’ compensation, exit interviews, the staff dispute resolution process, and HR policy and process questions.

Kim earned her Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English from Ohio University and her J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law. Kim joined UD in 2015 and spent six years working in the University’s Equity Compliance Office before transitioning to the Office of Human Resources in 2022.
