Professional Experience
Shirley is a native Daytonian and dedicated to the etiquette enhancement and career development of young people. Her professional background consists of a combination of teaching, advertising, sales positions and public speaking.
Shirley served as a former Territory Sales Representative for a well-known consumer manufacturer, an Advertising Sales Account Executive for a Dayton radio station and a Teacher with the local city school system.
Occupation
Shirley has been employed with the University of Dayton's Career Services Office since 1988. She's served as Coordinator of Cooperative Education Engineering & Engineering Technology Programs (1988-91), Assistant Director of Cooperative Education Business, Arts & Science Programs (1991-2000) and Career Services Assistant Director and Career Advising Liaison for the College of Arts & Sciences (2000-present).
