Profile

Roopa Raman is Associate Professor of Management Information Systems (MIS) at the University of Dayton. Dr. Raman brings a rich and diverse academic background to her teaching and research, holding a Ph.D. in Business from Emory University, an MBA from the University of South Carolina, an MS in Pharmacology from the University of California, Los Angeles, an MS in Biochemistry, and a BS in Chemistry from the University of Calcutta.

Dr. Raman’s multidisciplinary expertise enables her to integrate business, technology, and the sciences in innovative ways. She is committed to fostering analytical thinking, data-driven decision-making, and ethical leadership among her students, reflecting UD’s Marianist values of holistic education and community engagement.

As a scholar and educator, Dr. Raman is dedicated to advancing research and teaching at the intersection of information systems and complex organizational challenges.
