Profile

Dr. Jaey (Jaeyoung) Kim is an Assistant Professor of Operations & Supply Chain Management in the Department of MIS, OSC, and Business Analytics at the University of Dayton. Her research focuses on applying data-driven methods, particularly causal inference and machine learning, to address practical challenges in operations and supply chain management. Current projects focus on healthcare operations and supply chain management, with a primary goal of generating data-driven insights that enhance decision-making and organizational performance.

She also serves on the Editorial Review Board of the International Journal of Operations & Production Management (IJOPM). In teaching, Dr. Kim integrates experiential learning and real-world business problems to equip students with the analytical and problem-solving skills needed to navigate today’s data-rich environment.
