Joe earned his undergraduate degree from Clemson University and his law degree from the University of Dayton School of Law. After law school, Joe practiced in Dayton, Ohio with the law firm of Dinsmore & Shohl. Joe’s professional experience includes representing numerous individuals and corporate clients on matters relating to business organization, corporate governance, risk management, shareholder disputes, trade secret infringement, and commercial property matters.
Joe's teaching focuses on helping students understand the legal implications of managerial decisions and the principles of ethical leadership. Prior to teaching full-time at U.D., he practiced law for nearly a decade as a complex commercial litigator at a large national law firm.
