Dr. Kaitlyn DeGhetto is an Associate Professor of Management whose research focuses on strategy, entrepreneurship, and public policy. Her work examines how individuals and firms respond to institutional risks and pursue opportunities in global contexts.
She teaches undergraduate management courses, helping students strengthen their strategic thinking and leadership skills through experiential learning. Prior to joining academia, she worked as a product manager and a business development manager. A Florida native, she earned her bachelor’s degree and MBA from the University of Florida and her Ph.D. from Florida State University. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and being outdoors.
