Profile

Marlon Williams is a professor of economics at the University of Dayton, where he has contributed to the School of Business Administration for over a decade. Dr. Williams holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Organization and Applied Microeconomics from The Pennsylvania State University, as well as an MS and a BS in Economics from The University of the West Indies.

Dr. Williams’s research interests include industrial organization, applied microeconomics, and international economics. His scholarly work advances understanding of market structure, firm behavior, and the global economic environment, bringing both theoretical and practical insights to his teaching.

Known for his dedication to academic excellence and student engagement, Dr. Williams’s approach to education reflects UD’s Marianist values of community, service, and the pursuit of knowledge for the common good.
