Dan Kapusta serves as Lecturer of Finance and Director of the Davis Center for Portfolio Management at the University of Dayton. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a master’s degree in Finance from Michigan State University, blending strong analytical training with specialized expertise in financial management.
As Director of the Davis Center, Dan leads experiential learning initiatives that provide students with hands-on portfolio management experience and real-time exposure to investment practices. His commitment to student development and practical education is reflected in his teaching and mentorship, preparing graduates for leadership roles in the finance industry. Dan brings over 30 years of U.S. institutional equity investment experience to the university classroom spanning from sell-side equity research to managing billion dollar portfolios for both one of the largest U.S. bank holding companies and a Fortune 500 insurance company.
