Profile

Barbara John serves as Principal Lecturer of Economics in the School of Business Administration at the University of Dayton. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in Economics from the University of Colorado, providing her with a unique interdisciplinary perspective that enriches her teaching and engagement with students.

With over a decade of dedicated service at UD, Barbara is widely recognized as one of the most beloved professors among business students, known for her approachable style, pedagogical excellence, and commitment to student success. Her passion for economics is complemented by her love of film, which adds further depth and creativity to her classroom environment.
