Profile

Nancy Haskell is Associate Professor of Economics and the J. Robert Berry Endowed Fellow at the University of Dayton. Dr. Haskell holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Davidson College and both her master’s and Ph.D. in Economics from The Ohio State University. My research spans a variety of applied microeconomics fields, including labor, public and regional economics, with a primary focus on questions related to community well-being.

Dr. Haskell is helps lead a variety experiential learning opportunities on campus. These include the Female Aspiring Business Scholars (FABS) camp, the Econ Games data analysis competition team, and the Student Marianist Research Fellows (SMERFs) program.

With a dedication to academic excellence, community engagement, and student success, Dr. Haskell’s work exemplifies the Marianist values of service, education, and leadership central to the University of Dayton’s mission. In her free time she is also an assistant soccer coach for the Oakwood High School girls varsity team.
