Profile
Courtney Stangel is a full-time Lecturer in the Department of Accounting at the University of Dayton (UD). She teaches required financial accounting courses in the undergraduate program. In addition, she instructs an 'Accounting Fundamentals: Finance for Non-Financial Managers' course for UD's Center for Leadership Emerging Leaders Program. Prior to coming to the University in 2015, Courtney was an Assurance Senior Manager at a large public accounting firm, PricewaterhouseCoopers, serving both public and private companies. She currently serves on the Finance Committees and/or Board of Directors for multiple not-for-profit organizations locally. Courtney also serves on multiple UD committees including the SBA’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Strategic Planning Team. Courtney is a CPA in the State of Ohio and serves as Board President for Family Services Association in Dayton, Ohio.
