Nate Prior

Prior to joining the SBA, Nate gained extensive experience with the University of Dayton through the UDayton Global partnership on campus, where he held the roles of Student Services Advisor, Academic Coordinator, and Assistant Academic Operations Director.

Nate's teaching career began in 2009 as an English teacher at North China Electric Power University, and he continued to work primarily with international students in teaching and administrative roles from 2013-2025. Nate's years of experience and expertise in international education and student support services makes him a wonderful Advisor for our SBA students, faculty & staff.

• During the pandemic, Nate spent 18 months as a benefits advisor in the supplemental insurance industry.

• Nate is a musician and recording artist who performs occasionally in the Dayton area, often with other musicians from the UD community. His original and comedic parody music can be found online under the name Nate Prior Trio.
