Dr. Marsha Keune earned her Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, her M.S. in Accounting from the University of Central Florida, and her B.S. in Accounting from Butler University. Before pursuing her doctorate, she worked as an assurance manager at a Big Four accounting firm. Currently, she serves as the Sr. Associate Dean at the University of Dayton’s School of Business Administration, where she leads curriculum innovation, enhances student success, and improves operational efficiency.
Marsha has taught undergraduate and graduate auditing and financial accounting courses, earning teaching recognition at three universities. Her research focuses on auditing and financial reporting, with publications in top-tier journals such as The Accounting Review, Contemporary Accounting Research, and Auditing: A Journal of Practice & Theory. Marsha also serves on editorial boards, held leadership roles within the American Accounting Association, and is a member of Butler University’s Lacy School of Business Dean’s Advisory Council.
