Johanna is a graduate of the University of Erfurt in Germany with a B.A. in Economics, as well as a graduate of the University of Groningen in the Netherlands with a M.A. in International Relations with a specialization in International Security. She is currently pursuing her M.A. in Communications at the University of Dayton and is hoping to graduate in 2023. At the Human Rights Center, she serves as the Graduate Assistant for Marketing and Communications and works on the Center’s outreach and communication strategies as well as assisting the Marketing and Communications student interns. Her interests in Human Rights focus on women’s rights and empowerment, international development and democratization. After graduating from UD, she hopes to continue to work on Human Rights advocacy and outreach as part of an International Organization or a Non-Governmental Organization.
