Profile

Tonda's greatest strength is communication. She is a socialite and loves talking to people of all walks of life. While she is dedicated to whatever she sets her mind to, even with challenges, she is always looking at the possibilities for change and also a champion of it. Tonda comes from a background in healthcare and bank call center analytics of over 14 years. She studied Business Management at Sinclair College, as well as Health Information Management, and she's used her diverse skill set in supervisory positions, beginning her various careers in retail and restaurant management. 

Tonda is known by her friends and family as having a flexible, friendly nature and a willingness to serve others as well as be a team player in all opportunities of the workplace. She believes that being a part of the solution is always the best way to go. 

Her current position has been one that has strengthened her in many ways, not only from a technical or work output perspective. She enjoys working with the team in the HRC and is grateful to have the opportunity to continue learning and still growing to be the best she can be for herself as well as her colleagues.

Tonda is also an actress, she has sang all of her life, and an independent film producer. She was the leading lady in "The Prodigal Wife," an independent film which was shown in a movie theatre in Miamisburg, Ohio, and is currently on YouTube. Tonda has also had social media talk shows and served as a Co-anchor for a news channel/publication in Indianapolis 2018-20 called "Everything Underground" where she reported on the great accomplishments of African Americans that people didn't know about. She is currently continuing to work on her book "Married 3x but never proposed to" and loves using her creative skills as an affiliate marketing content creator when not working here at the University.
