Faculty perspective
"In addition to traditional composition and professional writing topics, I am interested in the scholarly discipline of popular romance studies, and have focused my ENG 198 and 200 courses around that theme. Because I teach online, I am also continually learning and developing good pedagogical approaches to delivering information and facilitating interaction in online courses."
Courses taught
- ENG 100: Writing Seminar I
- ENG 198: Honors Writing Seminar
- ENG 200: Writing Seminar II
- ENG 370: Report and Proposal Writing

Scholarly interests
"In addition to teaching, I write in various genres including romance. To go along with my creative writing, I am interested in the relatively new scholarly discipline of popular romance studies, and have focused my ENG 200 courses around that theme."
