Chris Burnside has been a full-time lecturer in the Department of English since 2009. He holds an MA in English and an MFA in creative writing with a focus in writing for the screen and stage. His plays, scripts, stories, and film have been performed and published in many formats, including print, live production, and podcast. He teaches a variety of classes in composition and creative writing, most notably Elements of Style and the UD Writers Movement. With these classes, he endeavors to offer unique, experiential learning to students that furthers their writing and thinking.
