Stephanie Sweet earned both her B.A. and M.A. in Communication from the University of Dayton and spent over a decade teaching in UD’s Department of Communication. Her love for advising began in 2017 through her work with Discover Arts students, and she’s been passionate about mentoring ever since. Now, as part of the holistic academic advising team, Stephanie is excited to support students in a way that values the whole person and their individual journey.

Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys gardening, camping with her family and spending time with her 10-year-old daughter, a future Flyer! She’s a lifetime member of Girl Scouts of the USA and serves as her daughter’s troop leader. At home, she shares life with three cats and one very patient dog.
