Karen Rice

Karen Rice has worn many hats throughout her life, and that is one of the reasons she loves helping students explore their own purpose and direction. She believes college is not just about choosing a major that leads to a job; it's also about discovering what students love to learn, what skills they want to develop and what kind of meaningful life they want to create beyond college.

Karen enjoys working with students as they ask big questions about who they are, what they value and where their strengths might take them. She sees exploration as an important part of growth and loves helping students understand that their path does not have to be perfectly clear to be meaningful.

Outside of work, Karen's greatest passion is travel. She loves discovering new cultures and places around the globe. Karen and her husband are local to Dayton and enjoy music, arts, culture and finding new experiences close to home and far away.
