Lily Brownbury

Lily Brownbury is a Holistic Academic Advisor in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Dayton, where she supports students in the Biology, Geology and Mathematics departments, and the Sustainability program.

With a background in secondary mathematics education and a deep commitment to inclusive, student-centered support, Lily helps students navigate their academic paths while fostering a strong sense of belonging.

Before coming to UD, Lily taught high school math and held leadership roles in both formal and informal education settings. She is currently pursuing an M.Ed. in Exceptionalities, with a focus on supporting neurodivergent and twice-exceptional learners. Her advising philosophy is rooted in empathy, empowerment and meeting students where they are.

Outside of work, Lily enjoys cooking, crocheting and hiking with her (very spoiled) dog.
