UD Programs Leading to Professional Licensure

The University of Dayton is approved to offer programs that may lead to licensure in Ohio. These include face-to-face, online, and hybrid programs. Professional licensure and certification requirements often vary from state to state. The University of Dayton does not guarantee that programs will satisfy the criteria of professional licensure boards in all states or territories. To the best of our knowledge, the list below indicates whether such programs do or do not satisfy curricular requirements for licensure in each state. Links to state professional associations or licensing authorities are provided in the list.

If you reside in a state other than Ohio and are interested in signing up for an online course or program, please contact us at udonline@udayton.edu. The University will review our authorization status in your state and notify you if we can accept your application to our course or program. Students who are considering a program of study that may lead to professional licensure, may also contact the appropriate licensing agency in their state of residence to understand the regulations and requirements for their home state prior to applying to any academic program.
