At the Institute for Pastoral Initiatives (IPI), our vision is to create global partners within the Catholic Church in order to educate and develop disciples through dialogue, service and faith formation. We do this through a variety of English, Español, and العربية initiatives, like the Virtual Learning Community for Faith Formation (VLCFF), youth retreats and forums, and providing resources for inclusive catechesis.

Our Primary Initiative

Virtual Learning Community for Faith Formation

Since 2000, the Virtual Learning Community for Faith Formation has offered hundreds of multi-lingual courses on Catholic faith formation, ministerial certification assistance, and global pastoral services. The programs are provided on a custom e-learning platform, which allows anyone to register from around the world.

The Institute for Pastoral Initiatives serves as a support network and provider of resources to individuals with disabilities, their families, parishes, and dioceses by providing printed and digitized resources, online formation, and networking opportunities.

For years, the Institute for Pastoral Initiatives has also developed exciting local programs that introduce catechesis to teens and college students, such as the Hispanic Youth Retreat and the Forum for Young Catechetical Leaders.
