Oh, Deer!

In the 1950s, Christmas on Campus didn’t yet exist, but that didn’t mean the UD community missed out on celebrating the season. Former English professor and Class of 1918 alumnus Brother William Wehrle, S.M., dressed up as Santa Claus with his trusty “reindeer” by his side. For the animal’s sake, we hope “Pin the Tail” wasn’t on the list of reindeer games. Look in on the 2023 Christmas on Campus (Page 46).
