Full circle

Tapping into their past, present and future at UD, three Class of 2023 grads — Grace King, Claire Pawlecki and Mira Holifield —  designed a new mural welcoming students into The Hub at the Dayton Arcade. “The three of us met the first day of new student orientation at UD, and it felt like a full-circle moment getting to create this piece together, post-grad,” Pawlecki said. “It was so fun to be back in a space and a city that feels like home.” Their design incorporates elements referencing the architectural style of The Hub and drew in core pieces of the UD community including the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception and the city of Dayton.
